Phil Brown (aka Fixit)

Phil joined Philips Electronics as a Production Technician at their factory making TV tubes in Durham. This was the start of a 29 year career with Philips in manufacturing, product development, quality and general management. In 2006 he was MD of the LG.Philips cathode factory in Blackburn when they won the Britain’s Best Factories Award for world class manufacturing. On leaving LG.Philips at the end of 2006 Phil set up on his own, working with other companies to improve their operational performance. Working with large multinationals, SMEs and family run businesses the challenge is always to get the best out of your resources; your equipment, your processes, your cash and most important of all your people.
